Baptist College of Health Sciences

Why Donate To Baptist College

With a tradition of providing one of the finest educations in the tri-state area of Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi for nursing students and allied health students, Baptist College has experienced unprecedented growth recently. We've come a long way since graduating our first class of 33 baccalaureate students in 1999.
While an increasing enrollment is great news for the health care community, it brings with it an increasing need for student scholarships to support nursing students and allied health students. In addition, as the cost of higher education continues to rise, support from our donors is becoming increasingly important.
As friends or alumni of Baptist College of Health Sciences or Baptist Memorial Hospital, you have an exciting opportunity to help today's students shape their futures by contributing to an exceptional education that prepares them for the ever-changing world of health care. We are all asked to support many charities, but there may be none more important than helping nursing students and allied health students achieve their educational goals. Baptist College needs your help to meet the challenges that come with rapid growth.

Service as an Expression of Christian Values

College of Health Sciences
For more than a century now, Baptist College of Health Sciences has been teaching and training nurses and other health care professionals for some of the most important jobs in the world. Nurses and allied health professionals are at the forefront of patient care and safety. They act as communicators and nurturers, sounding boards and sympathetic ears. They are the most visible ambassadors of the Baptist message.
The foundation makes possible tuition deferral programs, clinical training, and scholarships. Since 1996, more than $1 million in scholarships has been awarded to more than 1,000 deserving students.
